Hollywood star Tom Cruise made a spectacular entrance at the closing ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games by descending from the roof of the Stade de France.
The Hollywood star descended from the roof on a wire in front of a crowd of 71,500.
Cruise grabbed the Olympic flag and rode off on a motorbike, thrilling athletes and fans that looked over.
Stars Mark The End of Paris Olympics
The “Mission: Impossible” actor was shown in a video skydiving into LA, where the 2028 Olympics are expected to take place.
The ceremony also featured performances by Los Angeles band Red Hot Chili Peppers, singer Billie Eilish, and rappers Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre.
Games Ended With Peace
International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach praised the Paris Games as “sensational,” adding that they showcased “sport at its best.”
There were concerns of sabotage attempts by Russia and Iran but so far the Games went according to the plan.
