US Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle has resigned for failing to protect former President Donald Trump on 15th of June.

Six Hour Hearing
During a six-hour House Oversight Committee hearing, lawmakers questioned the security measures taken by the SS before the Pennsylvania rally.
Lawmakers from both parties stressed the former head about how the suspect named Thomas Matthew Crooks managed to go that near to the former President.
In her resignation letter, Ms. Cheatle admitted her failure to protect Donald Trump and said she made the decision with a heavy heart.
New Director Appointed
Meanwhile, a 24-year-old Ronald Rowe has been appointed as the acting director of the Secret Service.
Reports did not mention the official date when a new director will be appointed for the agency.
