John Cena has announced that he will be ending his WWE career soon, with WrestleMania 41 in 2025 marking his final match.
Cena, a 16-time WWE Champion and one of the most iconic figures in wrestling history, made the announcement during a surprise appearance at Money in the Bank in Toronto.
Cena went on to the stage and held up his signature towel reading, “The last time is now,” hinting at his impending retirement.
Cena’s Legacy
He did not reveal his future opponents or if he would participate in the men’s Royal Rumble match but issued a warning to the rest of the roster.
Cena clarified that his WWE career was not ending immediately, but his retirement was forthcoming.
He first ventured into acting in 2006 with “The Marine” and has since appeared in films like “Trainwreck” (2015), “The Suicide Squad” (2021), and “Fast and Furious 9” (2021), as well as the TV series “Peacemaker.”
