Apple plans to enhance its Siri voice assistant and operating systems with OpenAI’s ChatGPT to step up its AI game.
The upgrade is part of a new AI system called “Apple Intelligence,” aimed at making navigation of Apple devices easier, Tim Cook said at Apple’s annual developers conference.

Apple Intelligence is a new AI system integrated into all Apple devices to enhance user experience to catch-up with the AI race.
The main features of Apple Intelligence includes generating quicker summaries, greater control over apps and Siri, automating email responses and much more.
OpenAI, Apple Partnership Criticized
Elon Musk, owner of Tesla and Twitter/X, criticized the partnership, threatening to ban iPhones from his companies due to data security concerns.
“Apple has no clue what’s actually going on once they hand your data over to OpenAI,” he said.
Samsung also mocked Apple’s announcement, posting on X, “Adding ‘Apple’ doesn’t make it new or groundbreaking. Welcome to AI.”
