The Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said she was fine after being attacked by a man in Copenhagen on Friday.
The PM took to social media to thank her supporters but she said she now felt fine but was shocked after the attack.
The Prime Minister didn’t face any injuries apart from a minor neck injury, she confirmed.
Suspect Was Arrested
The suspect, a 39-year-old Polish man, was arrested after the incident and the motive behind the attack still remains unclear.
The reports didn’t explicitly mention how the suspect approached the Prime Minister of a country and hit her.
Europe Condemned Attack
European leaders condemned the incident as “unacceptable” with calls for a thorough investigation into the matter.
The incident took place just days before Denmark head for the European Union polls that were expected to take place today.
