An aerospace engineer and YouTuber captured footage of mysterious objects flying near the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024.
Destin Sandlin, known for his YouTube channel SmarterEveryDay, documented the eclipse but later found mysterious flying past the Sun and Moon.
He uploaded the video to YouTube and held discussions with several experts but no one could give definite answer to he saw.
Satellites OR Bugs?
Sandlin’s first reaction to the objects was that the objects could be satellites because they were moving at the same speed as satellites.
The YouTuber found another object crossing the Moon’s face but he was still confused so he asked Jonathan McDowell, an astronomer, who initially thought the objects moved too quickly to be satellites and suggested they might be bugs.
But a similar footage from another Youtuber who happened to be there filmed the same objects, ruling out the bug theory.
Despite the various speculations, the exact nature of these objects remains unknown.
Sandlin has invited his viewers to help identify the objects to solve the mystery but he has not reached a definite conclusion yet.
