An American actor was shot dead during an attempted car robbery in Los Angeles.
Johnny Wactor, who was well known for his role in General Hospital, was shot as he approached a man trying to steal part of his car, media reports said.
Suspects Not Arrested
The Los Angeles police department said a total of three suspects were involved in stealing the catalytic converter from Wactor’s vehicle.
The incident occurred at the corner of West Pico Boulevard and South Hope Street in downtown Los Angeles.
The Sheriff office said they are working tirelessly to arrest the suspects who managed to flee the crime scene.
Actor Died in Hospital
Media reports mentioned that after the tragic shooting, police were called and the actor was transferred to hospital where he died.
Besides his role in “General Hospital,” Wactor appeared in the 2013 NBC series “Siberia” and had roles in two episodes of HBO’s “Westworld.”
