US Vice President Kamala Harris Uses ‘F Word’ To Motivate Students

The Vice President of the US Kamala Harris accidently used the F-word while delivering a speech at the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies.

Harris’s remark came as she was describing the importance of breaking down barriers and being the first to do it.

What Did Kamala Actually Say?

Speaking at the APAICS summit, Harris said, “We have to know that sometimes people will open the door for you and leave it open. Sometimes they won’t, and then you need to kick that f‑‑‑ing door down,” prompting cheers from the audience.

She immediately apologized candidly for using the F-word to describe what she felt strongly.

Making A T-Shirt Out of That

The crowd was jubilant to what the Actor and comedian Jimmy O. Yang said after Kamala’s remarks.

He said “we gotta make T-shirts with that saying, kick that f‑‑‑ing  door down.”

Harris’s use of strong language came in response to Yang’s question about her experience as the first Black American and South Asian American vice president of the US, and how her heritage has influenced her leadership.
