An escaped circus elephant was seen blocking road traffic in Montana with crossing as everybody stopped to watch.
The video shared on TikTok by ABC News showed a giant elephant roaming freely crossing the highway with bystanders and car drivers making videos.
Although no one was injured, the elephant was successfully brought back to his trailer after a 10-minute-long chase.
Animal Rights Groups Criticized Incident
At Least two animal rights organizations criticized the incident and said the circuses put the lives of the animals and the public in danger.
The two animal rights groups – People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and Compassion Works International – said the circus intentionally endangers the lives of animals and the animals are forced to come on streets to avoid that.
The circus didn’t respond to the rights organizations’ criticism of the incident.
