French Police Seize 72 Guns From Film Star’s Home

French police have seized 72 guns from the home of film star Alain Delon.

The police said they found 72 firearms along with 3,000 rounds of cartridges from his house located in southern France.

The actor, now in his late 80s, is not allowed to own weapons as he doesn’t have a legal permit, prosecutors said.

The police also discovered a shooting range in the actor’s rural home in Douchy-Montcorbon.

Who is Alain Delo?

Mr Alain Delon was a star of French cinema back in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s.

The 1960s and 1970s marked the peak of Delon’s screen career, with prominent films like “La Piscine” and “Le Samouraï” solidifying his status as a legend in French cinema.

Delon has been in poor health since a stroke in 2019 and is now the center of media attention because of family issues.

Delon is estimated to be worth millions as he sold about 80 works of art at auction in June for more than €8 million.
