White House has rejected a report from the Department of Justice special counsel over Joe Biden’s memory as false.
White House said the report was politically motivated and defended Biden’s physical health amid rising concerns over his condition.
Vice President Kamala Harris pushed back against special counsel Robert Hur’s report on Biden’s memory.
The Special Counsel’s Report
The Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report categorically said the US President faced problems in recalling things and had a bad memory.
In response to the allegations, White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre rejected the report and defended Biden’s physical and mental health.
“I dispute that the characterizations about his memory in the report are accurate, because they’re not,” Ian Sams, the White House spokesperson, said.
The report adds to the already paralyzed political situation in the United States, with both top Presidential candidates coming under increasing fire.
