According to a new poll conducted by The Washington Post-University of Maryland poll, more than 30% of the US adult population disapproves of Biden’s victory in the 2020
The Guardian reported that 36% of adult voters are now saying that Biden’s presidential win in 2020 was a fraud, and they do not accept it.
Biden’s Victory Was Illegitimate
The poll said that more and more people have started to believe that President Joe Biden’s victory was illegitimate, significantly boosting his republican rival, Donald Trump.
The Post reported that among Republicans, only 31% now say Biden’s win was legitimate – down from 39% in 2021.
Republicans Are Sympathetic to Rioters
A senior political analyst, Aaron Blake, wrote in the Post that the polls also reveal that Republicans have become more sympathetic to January rioters.
“Trump’s message over the 2020 election and January 6 had resonated with voters already disposed to believe it”, he wrote in the Washington Post.
