Hamas-Israel Ceasefire Around The Corner As Officials Meet

There are signs of a potential ceasefire between the Israeli government and Hamas attack as officials from both sides are engaging in Cairo.

Media reports suggested that officials from both sides have agreed to hold another session of talks.

The leader of Hamas Ismail Haniyeh was seen in the Egyptian capital hinting at intensive talks between the two parties.

Ceasefire Around The Corner

Ismail Haniyeh arrived in Egypt on Wednesday to take part in the negotiations directly.

Israel has expressed its desire to sit and talk with Hamas and lead the way towards another ceasefire.

Hamas leaders have said that war was not something desirable.

What’s Next?

Since the 7 October attacks, Israel has shown little evidence of restraint and more willingness to continue the war.

On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to bring all hostages back and defeat Hamas in Gaza.
