Europe: 30 Million Homes Can Meet Energy Needs Going Solar

A research study has concluded that 30 million European homes can meet all their energy needs by going solar.

The German study found that renewable energy will spike in the coming decade as the world transitions to fossil-free energy sources.

75% Could Go Solar By 2050

The research study concluded by the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany, mentioned that 75% of Europe’s households are expected to go solar by 2050.

According to the European Union’s official statistics, 22.5% of energy consumed in the EU was generated from renewable sources in 2022.

Renewable Energy is Cost-Effective

According to the United Nations estimates, renewable energy is the cheapest of all other sources.

Researchers at the University of Exeter and University College London also found that solar energy will become the world’s primary power source in the coming three decades.
