An anthropologist shopper in Florida was shocked when he realized that he had discovered a human-like skull.
The officials were unsure if the skull was of human origin but said the investigation would determine.
The detectives who arrived at the scene also recognized that the skull belonged to a human.
Experts Told To Verify
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office said they were working with experts to investigate the matter.
The office said they don’t think the case is sensitive.
No one is going to face any legal charges, Police said referring to the store owner.
Store Purchased Skull Last Year
The owner of the thrift store said he purchased the skull a year ago.
The Police said the skull had been in a storage unit since the owner purchased it.
