Since day one, billionaire Elon Musk has helped boost the communication capabilities of the Ukrainian forces against the Russian military. But a Ukrainian presidential advisor Mykhailo Podolyak has slammed Musk for helping the Russian military when he turned off communications during a drone attack on Russian positions.
Elon Musk Helped Russian Fleet
Walter Isaacson, the author of “Elon Musk”, mentioned in his book that Musk deliberately turned off the communications. Musk shut-offed communications when Ukrainian drones were about to attack the Russian warships stationed in the occupied Crimea, Isaacson mentioned in the book. “Elon Musk allowed this (Russian) fleet to fire Kalibr missiles at Ukrainian cities”, Podolyak said on X.
Musk Feared Nuclear Attack
The book also mentioned that Musk interfered in Starlink’s communication because he feared a nuclear attack by Russia. Musk thought the attack “would have been like a mini Pearl Harbor”, Isaacson wrote. Elon Musk has also been worried about Starlink’s involvement in the conflict as it was not meant to be involved in wars.
