Germany arrested two US servicemen for stabbing at a funfair that led to the death of one man. The police said they arrested the suspects who stabbed a 28-year-old German national to death.
Suspects Handed Over To US
Both the suspects, aged 25 and 26, were identified and handed over to the US authorities, the police said. Trier city police said the servicemen were based at the US Air Force’s Spangdahlem Air Base in the German town of Spangdahlem. The suspects visited the funfair at Säubrenner with friends where they had an argument with the victim.
One Suspect Injured
One of the suspects had an injury to his face but it wasn’t clear if it came as a result of an encounter with the German national. The German investigative authorities and the U.S. Air Force have not yet released the names of the suspects and the victim.
