Australia’s defense minister has revealed that there is no chance to locate the survivors of a military helicopter that crashed into waters off the Queensland state coast. Two days ago, an Australian military helicopter crashed into the waters and the Australian military immediately started a search and rescue operation to locate the survivors and grounded all MRH-90 Taipan helicopters.
All Hope Lost For Crewmen
The Australian Defense Minister Richard Marles said the military’s search operation couldn’t locate the crew members of the helicopter. Marles hinted at the possible loss of life when the helicopter initially went missing on July 28. The helicopter had been taking part in a joint military exercise involving some 13 countries.
Wreckage Found
Richard Marles told reporters today, Monday, that the military had recovered a significant amount of wreckage from the sea. The Australia’s army chief immediately grounded all the helicopters until they were found safe hours after the incident took place.
