A man and his dog were rescued after being stranded at the sea for 3 months. Tim Shaddock, from Australia, and dog Bella were finally rescued by a tuna trawler and its helicopter flying over the ocean. Tim was in good health and neither him nor his dog suffered any injuries, doctors said.

Rescuers and the medical staff were quick to compare Tim to the iconic character portrayed by Tom Hanks in the movie Castaway. Tim, resembling the lean and bearded depiction of the star, revealed that he and his dog survived by consuming raw fish and relying on rainwater as their sole source of drinking water for months. Remarkably, they managed to avoid falling ill during their fascinating journey.

Medical professionals assessed Tim’s health and said he was fine with no indications of injuries or health issues. “I’m just needing rest and good food because I have been alone at sea a long time”. Tim said. Doctors recommended smaller meals to get used to the food as it’ll be difficult for Tim’s metabolic activity to kick in.
