Ohio based plastic surgeon Dr. Katharine Roxanne Grawe was permanently banned from practicing medicine again after her TikTok video. The surgeon was accused of injuring one of her patients during a procedure in a live TikTok video.
Board Revoked Roxy’s License
Dr. Katharine Roxanne Grawe, also known as Dr. Roxy on TikTok, had her medical license permanently revoked by the Ohio’s Medical Board. The medical board had suspended Grawe’s license in November 2021, but she continued filming videos for TikTok. “It’s not appropriate to put patients in danger in the social media world”, the medical board said in a statement.
Ex-Patients Testified Against Grawe
The medical board cited multiple instances where patients complained about having to face complications after visiting Grawe. Multiple patients of Grawe were transferred to hospitals after she performed surgeries on them, while she recorded videos for TikTok.
