World’s most dangerous plant believed to have a suicidal sting has arrived in UK. Tha plant, known as Gympie-Gympie, has tiny hair like structures which can grow up to 10 meters long and can lead those who touch it, to suicide.

While plants are thought to be cute and innocent, some plants can literally kill you or hurt you to an extent that the victim may think of committing suicide, which is true in the case of Gympie-Gympie. The plant is native to Australia and Indonesia’s rainforests, but has gone on display at Alnwick Poison Garden, in Northeast England. Upon touching, a person may feel like being ‘electrocuted’ and on fire, experts suggested.
The Pain May Last For Months
The lead tour guide at the Poison Garden, John Knox said the hair-like structures known as trichomes produce toxins which can stay on the skin for an year. The pain may last for months and is usually intensely felt when the affected areas are touched and during temperature changes.
