A man who survived 9/11 attacks reportedly drowned in Michigan lake after he attempted to save a kid who fell off a raft. Mr. Luke Laidley jumped into the lake to rescue at least one child but unfortunately, he began to struggle and went underwater.
9/11 Survivor Drowns
Mr. Laidley, of Winnetka, was initially rescued by the boaters where they began doing CPR. He was transferred to Evanston Hospital in serious condition where he was pronounced dead.
Laidley Worked At 2nd Tower
Mr. Laidley was among many survivors of the 9/11 tragedy as he was working for an investment bank Morgan Stanley on the 61st floor of the second tower. The September 11, 2001, was actually Laidley’s second day at work but fortunately he was able to survive.
