According to a report by the Wall Street Journal, Google is testing to bring game features to YouTube. The new feature, known as “Playables”, will add interactive games to the video platform, the report mentioned. Google has sent an email to its employees to test the new feature and give detailed feedback.
Stack Bounce
So far, the Wall Street Journal could only provide details about one game i.e. Stack Bounce. This is an arcade game where players attempt to break layers of bricks or something concrete via bouncing balls by tapping them on the screen. Games will be playable either on YouTube iOS and Android or through the browser on desktop, the article said.
YouTube Declined To Comment
Youtube’s spokesperson declined to comment on the details provided by the Wall Street Journal. “We’re always experimenting with new features, but have nothing to announce right now”, the statement said.
