Millions across Turkey went on streets as President Erdogan secured yet another term as the Turkish President. President Erdogan received 52.07% of the votes against his most challenging rival & opposition leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu fell short by 5% receiving 47.93% of the total votes.
Turkey Is The Only Winner
While speaking to an audience in Istanbul, Erdogan said that the only winner of the elections was Turkey. According to the state-run Anadolu agency, the voter turnout was 85.6% while the results are not yet official as 98.9% of votes were counted. According to the latest reports, the opposition leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu and now Ekrem Imamoglu have become the leader of the opposition.
World Congratulates Erdogan
Governments, especially of the Muslim world, congratulated President Erdogan on securing the 5th term as the President of the Turkish people, Governments of Iran, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Qatar, Russia, Pakistan congratulated Erdogan on this historic night.
