White House has announced to invest $140 million in creating seven AI research hubs. The announcement came amid increasing scrutiny of AI developments to avoid risks associated with the revolutionary technology.
VP Meeting With Tech Giants
The announcement came as the US Vice-President Kamala Harris is expected to meet tech giants including Google and Microsoft. The meeting will set guidelines for the companies to obey in order to make sure “their products are safe before they are deployed or made public,” the Vice President said.
