Car Crash At Construction Zone Kills 6 Workers In Maryland

Six workers were killed when a car entered a construction area in Baltimore County, Maryland. According to Maryland police, the car entered into the temporarily built concrete construction walls and six workers working at the construction site were run over and killed.

Two Vehicles Involved

Police have speculated about the involvement of a second vehicle, which the Maryland police later identified as Volkswagen. The police closed some roads nearby, but all the roads were reopened for public transport at 6:45 p.m, according to the Maryland police spokesperson. The driver of the first vehicle sustained injuries and was later transferred to a nearby health facility. 

Drivers Of Vehicles Identified

The police have identified the drivers of both the vehicles, one of whom was transferred to a hospital. The driver of the Acura passenger vehicle was identified as Lisa Adrienna Lea and the driver of the second vehicle was identified as 20-year-old Melachi Brown, who didn’t report anu injuries.
