Three Men Found Guilty Of Killing Jahseh Onfroy

Three men who were accused of killing the 20-year-old rapper in 2018, were found guilty on Monday. The men were convicted of murdering the young rapper during an ambush robbery in 2018, when Jahseh Onfroy went out of the bank after withdrawing money. The controversial rapper, XXXTentacion, died on spot after being fatally shot in the car.

The Video Footage

Prosecutors played the surveillance video footage of the killing that took place in Florida, 2018. The three suspects, 26-year-old Dedrick Williams, 28-year-old Michael Boatwright, and 24-year-old Trayvon Newsome, parked their SUV in front of Jahseh’s car and pointed their guns at him. Jahseh fought back for 45 seconds after which the suspects opened fire and snatched a bag full of $50,000 that the victim had just withdrawn from the nearby bank.

More Evidence

Apart from the surveillance video, the Prosecutors also presented cell phone videos that the suspects made just after killing Jahseh. One of the suspects argued that the gun was pointing at the victim’s face, probably meaning the two gunshots immediately killed Jahseh Onfroy.
