Study Cautions SpaceX Starlink Interfering In Space Imagery

Space scientists have been raising concerns over the deployment of so many satellites, specially Starlink. In 2019, Starlink came under heavy criticism after astronomers claimed that the newly deployed internet satellites would interfere with astronomical observations. A new study published in Nature argued that satellites are severely affecting the observations of the Hubble telescope.

Putin Ally Belarus Sentenced Noble Prize Winner To 10 Years

A Belarusian court sentenced a renowned noble prize winner Ales Bialiatski to 10 years in jail. Bialiatski was one of the three Nobel peace prize winners in 2022. He was accused of smuggling and illegally supporting the activities of the opposition back in 2021. He was arrested amid civil unrest and protests to reject the re-election of Alexander Lukashenko, now president of Belarus. 

50% Of World Population To Be Overweight by 2035

More than half of the world’s population will become obese by 2035, a new report by the World Obesity Federation claimed. A report looking over the economic impact of obesity argued that by 2035, our world will have more than 50% of the population classified as obese. The alarming number of obese people coupled with the rising population will have disastrous consequences if not controlled.
