The Iranian revolutionary guard commander has threatened to kill former US president Donald Trump. The Iranian head of guard Amirali Hajizadeh threatened to avenge the killing of their former leader Qassem Soleimani by the Trump administration.
Looking To Kill Trump
Amirali Hajizadeh has openly threatened to execute the former president and Mike Pompeo, the former secretary of state. In 2020, the killing of former Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps head, Qassem Soleimani prompted massive protests when he was killed in a US drone strike. “God willing, we are looking to kill Trump,” he told state TV.
Iran Expanding Missile Programme
Iran has also been working extensively on expanding its missile systems and drone manufacturing. It recently developed a cruise missile with a range of 1,650 km raising western and Israeli concerns.
