The Hospice Care
As the word suggests, it’s a special type of care where a patient decides not to go through further treatments and instead accepts death as the last stage of life. The purpose is to provide compassionate care and comfort to the patient in the last moments of his/her life.
Carter’s Legacy
The former President’s tenure wasn’t a time of smooth tides rather he was faced with extreme challenges domestically and around the world. Domestically the democrats were defeated in the re-election bid of Ronald Reagen, Carter’s successor. In 1979, the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan, putting Carter’s expertise on trial.
