Family Statement

General is referred to as a disease but it is rather complicated. It is an umbrella word for a group of brain disorders that affect the personality, behavior, and language of the person. Bruce had been facing problems with speech and coordination for a few years. His family felt  “relief to finally have a clear diagnosis,” according to his family statement. The statement was signed by his wife Emma Heming and his former wife Demi Moore.

Fronto-Temporal Dementia

Fronto-Temporal Dementia is a condition that primarily affects the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain. The parts of the brain it affects are responsible for memory, language, and thinking skills. The condition is caused by toxic protein buildup in both the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain.
