Julian Sand was reported to be missing in the mountains in northern Los Angeles. The British actor disappeared without a trace last Friday when he went on a hike in the snowy mountains. The authorities were using drones and a helicopter to investigate his whereabouts in the mountains.
Bad Weather
Due to bad weather in the area, the authorities had advised hikers and skiers to remain vigilant. The search and rescue teams had responded to 14 requests on Mount Baldy and in the surrounding areas. The search for the 65-year-old Hollywood actor was abandoned due to avalanche risks but the search continued via drones and a helicopter.
A Room With A View
Mr Sands had revealed his love for hiking and mountains in several of his interviews. In a 2020 interview, he said being “Close to a mountain” makes him happy. He had worked in multiple TV shows and movies but “A Room With A View” brought him fame in 1985.
