US Cancer Death Rate Declined By 33%

A research report has revealed that cancer death rate in the US has declined dramatically by 33% in the last 3 decades. The report of cancer statistics was published by the American Cancer Society (ACS). The tremendous decline is evident from the fact that 3.8 million cancer related deaths were prevented since 1991, according to the report.

Cervical Cancer On Decline

The report mentioned significant decrease in the cases of cervical cancer. A type of cancer that occurs in the lower part of the uterus. It has shown an impressive decrease of about 65%. The vaccine developed in 2006 for two cancer strains, HPV-16 and HPV-18, was the reason for the sudden decline., the report mentioned.

Prostate Cancer Is Rising
