At least 66 bodies have been recovered so far from a passenger plane that crashed in Nepal. 68 passengers and 4 crew members were on board, killing all when it crashed 200 km west of the capital. The twin-engine ATR 72 plane operated by Yeti Airlines was flying from Kathmandu to Pokhara.
No Survivors
The rescue operations have not been able to rescue anyone from the crash site. According to the Nepal police spokesperson, 66 bodies have been recovered from the site so far, with no survivors. According to one eyewitness, the plane started to try a landing and began to spin wildly in the air before it crashed.
Deadliest Incident Since 2018
The recent plane crash incident is the deadliest in Nepal since March 2018, when a US-Bangla Dash 8 turboprop flight from Dhaka crashed in Kathmandu, killing 51 out of total 71 passengers on board.
