Ukraine claims that the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant, currently under control by Russian troops, has 15 days before it will run out of backup energy to power its generators.
According to Ukraine the plant has been disconnected from the energy grid since Russian attacks damaged energy supplies to the plant.
The nuclear plant is currently relying on diesel generators. Meanwhile Russia has called on civilians to leave Kherson, 200 kilometers South West of the Zaporizhzhia plant.
Experts remain concerned about the situation, even though the plant has been disconnected from energy supplies in the past.
