Spanish Football team came under a knife attack in a supermarket in Milan, a Northern city in Italy. The knife attack resulted in 1 dead and 5 seriously injured. The injured was immediately transferred to a nearby hospital. The one who lost his life was a supermarket employee as a result of the knife attack.
Football Stars Injured
The 5 injured included Pablo Mari, who will undergo surgery due to injuries received from the stabbings. Monza, the defender for Serie was also one of those who got seriously injured in the knife attack. The hospital authorities mentioned that Pablo Mari was “alert and conscious” and was in stable condition as the wound wasn’t that deep.
The Suspect Has Mental Problems
According to the initial reports the suspect grabbed a knife from the shelf and started terrorizing and attacking random people in the Carrefour supermarket. The authorities ruled out the “terrorist” motive as the suspect was not well psychologically.
