Philadelphia 76ers and NBA superstar Joel Embiid is now an official U.S. citizen.
Embiid was born in Cameroon and played one year of college basketball in Kansas. Embiid also has French citizenship.
The 28-year-old become a citizen last week in Philadelphia and stated that his family played a big role in him getting his citizenship.
“We’re going to say Cameroon, American, and French,” he said, laughing.
