Former President Donald Trump asked Russian President Vladimir Putin to share whatever information he has about Biden and his family that could harm him in a new interview released Tuesday.
This is one of many examples of Trump’s willingness to fight domestic political battles using foreign powers.
Trump pressed an unverified accusation about Hunter Biden’s business ties in Russia in an interview with JustTheNews and demanded Putin reveal any information he might have regarding the matter.
Trump’s History Of Asking For Help
In the 2016 presidential campaign, Trump asked Putin to hack Hillary Clinton’s email.
In the run-up to the 2020 election, Trump halted aid to Ukraine and gave them an ultimatum to dig out dirt on Hunter Biden in exchange for the aid to be reinstated.
Then during the 2020 presidential campaign, some of Trump’s closest allies teamed up with a confirmed Russian spy to spread misinformation about Biden and his family.
The video of Trump requesting Putin for assistance was posted on a news website run by John Solomon, a pro-Trump journalist whose earlier reporting on the Bidens’ ties to Ukraine has been called into question.
