N.J Police handcuff black teen as white teen watches

A New Jersey police department is being investigated after two officers handcuffed and pinned an 8th grader black teen on the floor while the white teen involved in the fight was left to sit on a couch.

The teenage fight, which happened Saturday at Bridgewater Commons in Bridgewater Township, New Jersey, was captured on video, and officers involved have been placed under paid leave.

“Although an investigation is still gathering the facts about this incident, I’m deeply disturbed by what appears to be racially disparate treatment in this video,”

Gov. Phil Murphy said.
