LOS ANGELES (AP) — Former “Saturday Night Live” skit stars Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost will reunite onscreen in a new Super Bowl commercial to dodge a mind-reading Alexa device.
As part of their normal game-day routine at home, Johansson and Jost utilize the Amazon Echo device a virtual personal assistant that plays music, provides weather, informs about news, and keeps them up to date on sports.
This ad features a couple that is initially awestruck by Alexa’s functionalities, but imagines a world in which Alexa can read their thoughts every day.
This 60-second advertisement debuts Monday and will air during Super Bowl 56 on Feb. 13.
Johansson is hopeful that the millions of Super Bowl viewers will enjoy their ad as much as he and his crew enjoyed filming the commercial ad.
