During Saturday’s dueling protests by pro- and anti-vaccination protestors outside Los Angeles City Hall, one person was stabbed.
The victim, who was identified as a man by police, was treated by fire department officials, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Instagram account.
On the right side of the political spectrum, a “choose freedom march against medical tyranny” event was held, while on the left, a “no safe space for fascists” rally was held.
The factions assembled on the south lawn of City Hall and subsequently battled in the streets under the shadow of the Los Angeles Police Department. Multiple clashes were shown on video.
Frank Stoltze, a reporter for KPCC radio, tweeted that he was “shoved, kicked, and my eyeglasses were ripped off of my face by a group of guys at a protest – outside City Hall.”
Anti-vaccine protestors allegedly assaulted other observers, including Tina-Desiree Berg.
