Rapper J. Cole to play for Rwandan club in Basketball Africa League

According to The Undefeated, rapper J. Cole is set to feature for the Rwanda Patriots BBC in the inaugural season of the Basketball Africa League.

J. Cole, 36, arrived in Rwanda two days ago and is currently quarantined in order to participate in the 12-team league.

Cole attended Sanford (North Carolina) High School and was a walk-on at St. John’s before deciding to pursue music.

According to a source, J. Cole’s signing with the Rwanda club is set to become official on Thursday.

The Rwanda Patriots will face the Nigeria River Hoopers in the first BAL game on Sunday.

The New Times Rwanda broke the J. Cole news first, revealing a screenshot of him in Rwanda.
