Saudi Oil Tanker NCC Dammam Reportedly Attacked In The Red Sea

The Saudi oil tanker NCC Dammam was reportedly attacked in the Red Sea on Tuesday, according to independent maritime tracking sites. The vessel is classified as “not under command,” which means it is unable to navigate.

According to Dryad Global, a maritime security risk management company, the vessel was last seen in the Red Sea off the coast of Saudi Arabia, south of Yanbu.

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said it was “aware of news of an incident” in the vicinity of Yanbu.
