When a gunman opened fire on an Orange County office complex Wednesday evening, four people were killed and a fifth was seriously injured.
Among the dead was a child. The gunman was injured during an exchange of fire with policemen, according to police, and was taken into custody.
The massacre on Wednesday comes on the heels of recent mass shootings at three Atlanta spas, which killed eight people, including six Asian women, and a killing spree at a Boulder, Colorado, supermarket, which killed ten.
