The US and South Korea have agreed to share the cost for US troops based in South Korea.
Negotiations begin under President Donald Trump‘s administration where Trump demanded South Korea pay up to 400% for the troops in its country.
This agreement has been seen as positive things that will help both countries defend and fight off North Korea.
Under Trump’s administration, it was a top priority to help lessen the threat of North Korea to the US.
The cost-sharing agreement fits into Biden schools of repairing and returning to the previous relationship with South Korea
