Sanders refutes Warren’s claim that he said a woman couldn’t win the presidency in 2020

Tensions have been growing between Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders in recent days. Senator Warren said in a statement yesterday that Senator Sanders came to her house in December 2018 for a private dinner with only the two of them, and that “one of the things that came up was what would happen if Democrats elected a female candidate.”
