According to authorities, three individuals were murdered and five others were injured in a series of unrelated gunshots in Seattle early Sunday.
The four shootings occurred within three hours of each other, according to a press statement from the Seattle Police Department.
The first happened at 1:48 a.m. outside a pub in the Belltown area. A bartender reported a brawl in the pub that had spilled out into the street and parking lot. According to the statement, when officers arrived, they heard gunshots and discovered a male with gunshot wounds who was confirmed dead following lifesaving efforts.
Around 2:30 a.m., police went to reports of a shooting in Occidental Square, some two miles south, where they discovered two males with gunshot wounds. According to the statement, one was brought to the hospital and the other was pronounced dead at the spot. According to the statement, three additional patients were taken in personal automobiles from that area, one of them died in the hospital due to injuries.
