Kroger Is Going To Give $1 Million And A Free Year Of Groceries For People To Get Vaccinated

Americans who get vaccinated at Kroger’s clinics and pharmacies may enter to win a $1 million cash prize and a year of free groceries.

The effort is part of the #CommunityImmunity giveaway campaign, which seeks to assist the Biden administration inoculate 70% of Americans with at least one COVID-19 vaccination dosage by July 4.

This week, more information on the rewards, formal regulations, and eligibility will be released. Five $1 million payments totalling $5 million are among the prizes, as are ten free food for a year given each week for five weeks, totalling 50 winners. The promotion is open to both Kroger customers and workers. The giveaway registration period begins on June 3rd.

Kroger Health has helped in the distribution of about 4.6 million COVID-19 vaccinations as of Friday.

Budweiser, Sam Adams, Krispy Kreme, Target, Uber and Lyft, Unilever, United Airlines, White Castle, Staples, Office Depot, and dating apps Match, Bumble, Badoo, BLK, Chispa, Hinge, and Plenty of Fish are among the newest corporations to provide vaccination incentives.

In addition, New York, Ohio, and Colorado have all introduced vaccination lotteries, while Rowan University in New Jersey is paying $1,000 to students who get vaccinated.

As of Sunday, approximately 294 million COVID-19 vaccinations had been provided, with at least 62.6 percent of Americans 18 and older receiving at least one dose and 51.5 percent completely immunized, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
