Could a Mickey Mouse T-shirt really hide a high-tech casino scam? Apparently, yes.
A Kazakh couple, Dilnoza Israilova, 36, and her husband Alisherykhoja Israilov, 44, are accused of using hidden cameras and earpieces.
They allegedly raked in nearly A$1.2 million ($784,000) at a Sydney casino.
Casino staff first raised eyebrows when they noticed a tiny camera discreetly attached to Israilova’s shirt.
A police search revealed magnetised probes, a mirror attachment for a phone, and other gadgets allegedly used to rig games.
“The devices were linked to their phones, letting them see the table in real time,” a New South Wales Police spokesperson explained.
The couple reportedly arrived from Kazakhstan in October and signed up for casino membership the same day.

High-Stakes Cheating
Over weeks, they amassed winnings totaling A$1,179,412.50.
Hidden earpieces allegedly fed them live instructions on when to place bets.
A further search of their nearby accommodation turned up more gambling props, high-end jewelry, and €2,000 in cash.
Both remain in custody after being charged with dishonestly obtaining a financial advantage.
Court dates are set for December and February.
So, is this a cautionary tale for casinos, or a real-life spy thriller?
Either way, it proves that in the world of high-stakes gambling. You never know when Mickey might be watching.
