WSJ Reports US Has Ordered Intelligence Agencies To Spy On Greenland

Denmark summons US ambassador over Greenland spying report.

The Wall Street Journal revealed that U.S. intelligence agencies have allegedly been told to keep a close eye on Greenland’s independence movement.

And its rich mineral resources.

“We don’t spy on friends,” Rasmussen said bluntly, calling the report “somewhat disturbing.”

And yes, he’s summoning the U.S. ambassador for a little chat.

The White House hasn’t exactly denied it.

What’s The Response?

Instead, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard slammed the Journal for “undermining national security” by leaking classified info.

She did so without denying it’s true.

All this comes amid Trump’s renewed obsession with the icy island.

From suggesting military action to saying, “We need Greenland very badly,” the former president hasn’t been shy.

Even his VP, JD Vance, made a controversial visit to a U.S. base there—sparking outrage from Danish officials.

Greenland, while self-governing, remains part of Denmark.

Most locals want full independence—not to be America’s 51st state.

As former President Joe Biden put it: “What the hell’s going on here?” Good question.

Maybe Washington should cool it before this Arctic fantasy melts into a full-blown diplomatic mess.
